| | Color Wonder - Is it so great? | | In the states we have a line of products by Crayola called ColorWonder. These products are all clear until you use them on thier special paper.
While I think the idea is nice; I don't think they are practical.
So if your child wants to draw, color, paint etc and they are out of paper then they are out of luck?
I will not be buying them as I feel it is important for my child to learn what he can and cannot draw on. What if he was used to Color Wonder and went to someone's house that didn't have that? He wouldn't know not to go off the paper and could make a huge mess.
As I said, the concept is nice but I don't feel practical. Plus they are rather expensive.

| Desig A Tee Shirt For Your Children Or Someone You Love | | Instructions: This project is best done outside where spray mess will not be a problem. Lay tee shirt on a flat surface and place stickers to spell a word or make a design. Press stickers firmly in place. Hang tee from a fence or tree. Dilute 1 part of each color paint with 18 parts water in a spray bottle. You'll need a spray bottle for each color or you can wash a bottle out between colors. Shake until evenly mixed. Stand about 4 to 6 feet from the shirt and spray. Experiment with the spray bottle nozzle to get a fine spray or a more concentrated spray. Make sure to get a lot of color around the stickers but leave other areas white for a more interesting effect. Let hang dry for a few hours. Before washing, set the paint by drying tee shirt in a hot dryer for ten minutes | |
| | It's Times Like These That I Wish I Had.... | | ......My OWN home to live in. As many of my friends know, I live in an apartment and have lived here for a real long time. Now I know many of you who do have homes, may have concerns about mortgage payments, or dealing with wacky next door neighbors, but at least you don't have to put up with crap from neighbors who live all around you only a wall or ceiling away...especially like the ditzes that live over me. When they first moved in years and years ago, the jerks once had the TV on, AC AND then used the microwave all at the same time...it blew OUR lights out. Then there were the years and years of having Niagara Falls coming down in the kitchen. The woman had (no longer does) a washing machine...which is ILLEGAL to have in these apartments...the water attachment would come lose and buckets of water would come down into my kitchen. ruining food stuffs I had in my cabinets, like boxes of pasta, bags of sugar and flour, etc. Did the super do anything when we complained, did he tell her NOT to have a washing machine as it's illegal..NO, why? Cause he has the hots for her.Anyway, now I'm noticing the paint is starting to peel off my bedroom ceiling and it's due to them... | |

| Will this stop the PANDAmonium? | | Thai elephants painted to look like pandas after the black and white bears steal their fans! The elephant is Thailand's national symbol, but the country has gone panda-crazy since the birth of a female panda cub. Sick of all the fuss, keepers decided to take drastic-action, painting five of their neglected giants in water color paint, then parading them before schoolchildren!!I find this absolutely inane. I can understand the craze though being a panda spanker[em]wink[/em][em]lol[/em]but this is one instance too far!
